Bridging the Language Gap for Mental Health Recovery
The Erzule Paul Foundation's Mutual Aid Mental Health Initiative works to eliminate language barriers that prevent Haitian and Haitian American individuals from accessing vital mental health and recovery support.
Through the translation, cultural adaptation, production, and distribution of recovery literature, educational materials, and community wellness resources in Haitian Creole, this initiative promotes healing, reduces stigma, and strengthens pathways to recovery for underserved communities.
Here you will find already translated literature to share with those you feel need it the most. As we continue to translate all 12-Step literature into Haitian Creole, we ask that those interested in joining the initiative fill out the contact form on this website. We look forward to launching our first 12-Step recovery meeting in 2028.
