Projects

Three long-term commitments in Fort Liberté, built with the community rather than for it.

Project Health

Building a community clinic in Fort Liberté.

Access to healthcare and health education reduces preventable disease and the risk of chronic illness. A clinic close to home means regular check-ups, local jobs and a stronger healthcare infrastructure for the whole area. Our measure of success is simple: clients who flourish physically, emotionally and spiritually

Project Recycle

Establishing a recycling centre in Fort Liberté.

A recycling centre reduces waste and pollution, protects public health, creates jobs and supports local business. It also builds flood resilience in a city where blocked waterways turn heavy rain into loss.

The centre is designed to generate its own income, so the work can continue long after the first collection.

Mutual Aid Mental Health Initiative

Bridging the language gap for mental health recovery

We translate, adapt and distribute recovery literature and wellness resources in Haitian Creole  reducing stigma and strengthening the path to recovery for people who have never had these materials in their own language.

All 12-Step literature is being translated into Haitian Creole. You can join the effort through the form below; the first 12-Step recovery meeting is planned for 2028.
